Biography
Sangeeta Waldron is a multi-award-winning communications strategist, bestselling author, with more than two decades of experience spanning government, global media, sustainability, and social impact, she works at the intersection of climate storytelling, ethical communication, and corporate responsibility. Her expertise has shaped narratives for top-tier global brands, major charities, and senior UK government officials, including speechwriting for ministers and CEOs.
She is the founder of Serendipity PR & Media, an international communications agency she has led since 2009, advising organisations across business, culture, sustainability, fashion, food, and the arts. Her work includes sustainability training for corporate teams, designing communication frameworks, and consulting for initiatives such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Ethical and Sustainable Marketing degree and the Values 20 communiqué for India’s G20 Presidency.
Before launching her agency, Sangeeta held senior roles across the public and private sectors, including Director of Communications & Marketing at Breast Cancer Campaign, where she built an award-winning team; and Director of Global Communications & Marketing at The Economist Group, working directly with the CEO on global branding and strategic messaging. Her early career includes media and policy roles with the Cabinet Office, the Health and Safety Executive’s Nuclear Safety Division, Victim Support, the Mayor of London, and the Panos Institute.
A contributing editor for the India CSR Network, she writes widely on sustainable development, climate change, and social impact. She has also taught at Coventry University and delivered guest lectures at numerous UK and international universities. In recognition of her influence, she was named in Commetric’s Top 100 PR Influencers and the Top 15 Women Influencers in PR & Communications (2021) and commended by Women in Marketing for authentic brand storytelling (2020).
Sangeeta is the author of three acclaimed books. Her latest, 'What Will Your Legacy Be?' became an instant bestseller. Her previous book, 'Corporate Social Responsibility Is Not Public Relations', was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards, and her debut, 'The PR Knowledge Book', is held in leading academic institutions including Oxford, London Business School, and Harvard University.
She serves on the advisory board of Bridge India, a progressive think tank focused on public policy and international dialogue, and regularly speaks at global forums on climate communication, ethical leadership, and the power of storytelling to influence change.
