WCFA Welcomes Six New Members

The World Communications Forum Association is welcoming six high-profile PR experts as new Individual Members, committed to bridging the communication gap between leaders, businesses, institutions, societies, and generations in the PR industry worldwide.  

These six newcomers are:

Afua Foriwaa Boafoh (Ghana) - Media Relations Manager at GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, the first modern distillery to be established in West Africa. She has been able to build her valuable presence in the company and contribute to its success for 5 years now. Afua is responsible for all media engagements, including any conventional and non-conventional forms of media.

German Saa (Japan) - Director at Kyodo PR, one of the biggest and oldest PR agencies in Japan. Currently, he is assigned to the International Operations Division that handles multinationals such as Hawaiian Airlines, Dell-EMC, The Ritz Carlton Waikiki, Melco, Shangri-La Hotels, and Malaysia Tourism Office among other clients. German has more than 22 years of experience in public relations and his major areas of expertise include gathering and analyzing relevant data from all media sources, event planning, implementing and follow-up operations, interfacing between Japanese and foreign business practices.

Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe (Ghana) - Head of Corporate Communications for Ghana Post, Managing Partner of Sempoa Broadcasting Network, Vice President, Communications & External Relations for Sustainable Climate Change for All, Africa (SUCCA Africa). Kobi is a public relations practitioner, brand influencer, media personality, public diplomacy strategist, entrepreneur, a consistent Made-in-Ghana product campaigner philanthropist with over 12 years of diverse experience. Also known as "Ghana's Pride" and the "Queen of Trade", she is a woman who's passionate about portraying Africa and has maintained a constant brand of projecting African values.

Mai Anh Le (Vietnam) - Regional Country Manager of Global PR Hub and Executive Chairperson of Vietnam Public Relations Network (VNPR). She has more than 16 years of experience in the communication industry and built her professional career with growing roles at leading international news providers -  PR Newswire as Country Manager, and Regional Media Account Manager of Reuters News Agency managing Vietnam and Indochina markets. Mai Anh won the Diamond Award at ASEAN PR Excellence Awards 2019 and the Silver Award for Social Usage of Media 2021 in Jakarta.

Pelin Kocaalp (Turkey) - General Manager of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Istanbul with 17 years' experience, deep industry knowledge and relationships to enhance the office’s reputation as one of the foremost agencies in the country. Before joining H+K, Pelin worked in both the private and public sectors including the Prime Ministry Investment Agency of Turkey, leading international corporations in various sectors such as telecommunications, technology, and hospitality. Pelin holds several important positions, including Board Member of IDA, Member of the Sustainability Board of Wtech Technology Women association, and Member of the Global DEI council.

Vlad Bazikalov (United Kingdom) - Sales Director at Cision, has over 20 years' experience in business development and management with international companies such as Avis Car Rental, Marlow Hunter Sailing, Clarion Events, and PR Newswire/Cision. Graduated with Masters in Marketing and MBA from Oxford Brookes Business School and obtained “Building Business” certificate from Said Business School, the University of Oxford. Currently manages business development teams in CEE, ME & Israel, and India at Cision/PRNewswire. Passionate about technology, comms, and sailing.
