WCFA Welcomes Five New Members

The World Communications Forum Association is excited to announce the addition of five highly accomplished PR experts as new Individual Members. These exceptional professionals bring their expertise and insights to the world of communications to make significant contributions to the advancement and evolution of the communications industry.

Catherine Fisette (Canada) - Catherine has over 20 years of communication and marketing experience acquired in Montreal, Toronto, Beijing and Shanghai, in large corporations, agencies and startups. At the helm of Les Incorrigibles —a consultancy firm she launched in 2022—she advises her executive clients in the areas of strategic planning, capacity building and measurement. She is a conference speaker and serves as an evaluator for international communication awards and business competitions. In 2023, she received the Outstanding Freelancer of the Year Award given by the World Communications Forum Association (WCFA) in recognition of her contribution to the field of communication.

Inimfon Etuk (Nigeria) - Ms. Etuk’s portfolio includes hands-on technical expertise and a unique range of over 2 decades curative experience in Public Relations & Strategic Communications with specialty in Development Communications, inter-generational diplomacy, gender development, youth co-leadership and mentorship, enabling her design effective stakeholder engagement strategies. Ms. Etuk is the CEO/Lead Strategist at Global Narratives Consults – a New Media Strategy and Communications Training Consultancy. She works with her team to facilitate positive change by improving individual and corporate images as well as social intelligence skills.

Junxun Tan (China) - Jx Tan has over ten years of PR and marketing experience in China and Singapore, biotech strategic communicator with experience in crisis and social media management. Currently he is the Head of International Communications at BGI Genomics. His team successfully increased the number of LinkedIn fans by 18% through purely organic means by delivering warm and relevant messages to improve brand reputation and engage with media and industry stakeholders.

Kateryna Doroshevska (Ukraine) -Kateryna has over 15 years of experience in brand story-telling . She founded the business communications firm BECOME and works as a consultant for reputation management, personal branding, and brand strategy. Kateryna is an creator of trainings for building personal brand, motivational speaker, as well as a a pioneer of the UA Busibess worldwide volunteer education initiative, which was started during the conflict.

Rafiq Shahverdiyev (Azerbaijan) – Rafiq is the Director of Corporate Relations at Azersun Holding, one of the largest and most diversified conglomerates in Azerbaijan. With over 4 years of experience in this role, I have developed and implemented effective PR, media, communication, and CSR strategies that enhance the company's reputation, brand awareness, and social impact. Rafiq is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance Company, a leading provider of insurance solutions for the agricultural sector.
