Biography

Pelin brings 19 years experience to her role leading the Hill+Knowlton Strategies' Turkey office as general manager. She joined the team in 2013 and since then, has leveraged her deep industry knowledge and relationships to enhance the office’s reputation as one of the foremost agencies in the country. Before joining H+K, Pelin worked in both the private and public sectors including the Prime Ministry Investment Agency of Turkey, leading international corporations in various sectors such as telecommunications, technology and hospitality. During her time with the Investment Agency, her mandate was to assist and support foreign investors before, during and after their investment in Turkey. She was also the head of Marketing & PR strategies at the Agency. Following her time at the Prime Ministry Investment Agency, Pelin designed and executed high-profile strategic partnerships at one of the top telecommunication companies in Turkey for four years. She also led the G20 Turkey’s Presidency’s promotional PR campaign in 2015. After completing her university degree in Turkey, Pelin earned a Diploma in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her master’s degree in European Studies at the department of political science at Bosphorus University, Istanbul and thereafter started her PhD at Neuchâtel University in Switzerland.
